One of most popular immigration programs is skilled workers. An independent applicant must have professional skills listed in approved NOC..

This program based on the point system that includes: age – maximum 10 points, education - maximum 25 points, experience maximum – 21 point, knowledge of English or French languages – maximum 24 points, work permit in Canada – 10 points, spouses education – 5 points, blood relatives in Canada – 5 points.

Applicant should accumulate at least 67 point in order to have their files processed.

The applicants have to show appropriate assets for settlement in Canada after arrival.
